PaxPro Specification Management
PaxPro provides specification management designed to meet the specific demands of the packaging lifecycle. PaxPro Specification Management, based on customized PaxForms, manages the development, review, approval and use of both product and packaging specifications including raw materials and formulas.
Bill of Specification / Materials
The PaxPro Bill of Materials (BOM) is a hierarchical structure that provides all relevant data concerning any specification as well as temporary specs. It provides for change controls, a view into the relationship among related specifications and how/when to use any specification.
Specification Change Management
The PaxPro specification change process streamlines Specifications Change Orders (SCO's) throughout the enterprise. Approval routes and templates manage the changes to all specifications. Routes allow a file to be "passed along" in sequence from one person to another and/or in parallel to numerous people, with each person completing a required task as specified in the route.
This feature helps manage all packaging specifications across business units and regions securely over the Internet — a single point of access. Users can be alerted about changes to specifications in real-time, ensured access to the most current specifications across the enterprise and quickly collaborate on specification details.
Specification Office
The specification search, print and subscribe functions in PaxPro improve speed to market. Users can develop specifications to standardize product data across an enterprise or quickly create frequently followed tasks to improve the creation and editing of those specifications.
Secure ERP Integration
Using the routing capabilities of PaxForms, you can provide specs to suppliers while limiting their viewing rights in any manner you choose.
