PaxPro Project Management

Plan, execute and deliver all your branding and packaging projects on time. You can easily manage projects in real time with the powerful and fully integrated features of PaxPro Project Management. And, you do not need to install extra software or drag data from one application to another. All PaxPro project data is contained in one spot; easy to access and incorporate into your project plans and charts.

Project Leads can create project plans, assign tasks and automatically notify assignees of their tasks. Project management tools also offer task assignees a very simple way to report status against all of their tasks with a few mouse clicks and minimal typing. This action automatically changes the status of the tasks and updates the information for other users to see immediately -- all integrated into the workflow and collaboration features of PaxPro. No more switching back and forth among applications to gather data or having to telephone teammates for project updates you must enter manually into a separate file!

You can also create a new project simply by copying and then customizing an existing project based on one of the many best-practice project templates available in PaxPro.

PaxPro Project Management includes these main features:

Work Breakdown Structure

Through a simple-to-use work breakdown structure (WBS), project managers can assign tasks and users can report status on them from anywhere, without having to email a project file. Projects provide management tools to define and modify tasks, assign specific tasks to project members and promote tasks to the next level for approval. The feature also allows users to view and monitor information associated with each task, to better track their progress.

Creation of custom-specified roles

Custom roles allow varying degrees of visibility and input and foster role-based activity. For instance, a Project Lead can edit all tasks regardless of ownership, a Project Member can view all aspects of a Project including its tasks, members or discussions — or edit his/her own tasks, and a Project Owner, who created the project, can edit all project aspects and has the sole ability to delete the project.

Gantt Charts

Gantt charts provide a graphical illustration of a schedule to help plan, coordinate, and track specific tasks in a project. PaxPro PaxGantt lets users view projects in Gantt chart format with a horizontal axis representing the total time span of the project, broken down into increments and a vertical axis representing the tasks that make up the project.

Import / Export

The PaxPro Import/Export option allows you, with help from Paxonix Customer Support, to construct a project by importing from a comma-separated value, text file (.csv). The file could have been created in Microsoft Project® or other project management program, or have been exported from PaxPro. Once the project is imported, users can move the entire project as a whole by moving either the start or end date of the uppermost project item.

Schedule Driven

Estimated start and end dates features enable Project Managers to hold task owners accountable for assigned deadlines — further ensuring a faster time to market.

Create and Edit Task Dependencies

Dependencies among tasks allow a project manager to associate tasks and identify potential project bottlenecks.

Create / Revise a Project Baseline

Project baselines let you take a snapshot of the current project schedule for later comparison. A typical use of baselines is to create one at the beginning of a project. As the project progresses, the actual results can be compared to the original baseline, or to baselines which were created later in the project or to earlier projects.
